• Account information — name, email address, and password when you register. A single account gives you access to all Brandsmith products.
• Persona & content data — the personas, posts, drafts, and chat messages you create in Brandsmith Studio.
• Arena & panel data — the arenas, panels, prompts, and conversation logs you create in Brandsmith Panel.
• SMS / messaging data — your mobile phone number and message history if you enable the SMS / iMessage feature in Studio.
• API credentials — third-party API keys (e.g. Anthropic, OpenAI, Google) you provide, stored encrypted at rest.
• Usage data — log data, IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and other diagnostic information.

3. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, operate, and improve Brandsmith services.
• Route SMS / iMessage conversations to your chosen AI persona (Studio).
• Process multi-model AI debates and generate synthesis responses (Panel).
• Send transactional emails (password resets, account notices).
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security incidents.
• Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal data to third parties, and we do not use your content to train AI models without your explicit consent.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party providers to operate the service:

• Twilio — sends and receives SMS / iMessage on your behalf (Studio). Messages are subject to Twilio's Privacy Policy.
• Anthropic — processes AI requests using the API key you supply. Usage is subject to Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
• OpenAI — processes AI requests in Panel using the API key you supply. Usage is subject to OpenAI's Privacy Policy.
• Google — processes AI requests in Panel using the API key you supply. Usage is subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
• Neon / Vercel — cloud infrastructure for database hosting and deployment.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting us at the address below. Some data may be retained for legal or audit purposes.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and encryption at rest for sensitive credentials. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
